Objectives:
To provide an overview of adult education principles and the Kolb’s experiential learning cycle
To discuss how the Kolb’s model can be applied to one-on-one and group interventions for aphasia
To provide an overview of a YDAC-MODC pilot project incorporating adult education principles in a couple communication training program using a semi-group format
To provide a forum for discussion re: implications and future applications of the adult learning approach in speech-language pathology
