The hot air balloon Tips: What to do: Benefits: Snap & Share
Resources and useful tips can be displayed on the board to prevent pupils asking you for help. Pupils work in groups attempting the questions around the hot air balloon. Questions above the hot air balloon are positives and things that will help it get to its destination faster. Questions below will slow it down and be negatives. Questions on either side will effect it’s journey and may be contrasting examples. What to do: Peer/group work. Can be used as a starter, plenary or as a plan for a question. Groups can do the same or different questions to allow debate and reflection of key points. Allows pupils to compare answers. Groups can be differentiated to allow higher ability students to work with lower ability students. Benefits:
