If the hormone concentration is too low an change is made to increase it Menstrual cycle: What happens on Day 1-5? Menstruation, uterus lining breaks down and lost with the unfertilised egg. What happens around day11? Menstruation ends, uterus lining starts to thicken again What happens around day 14? Ovulation, ovary releases an egg Insulin releasing cells not releasing enough Type 1 diabetes is Pancreatic cells don’t produce insulin Type 2 diabetes is Target organs not responding properly
