The process of modernization and introduction of innovation into the electoral process in BiH started in 2006, and it encompassed the following segments:

4. SMS Center Project completed in 2010
Voters can check where their polling station is by sending SMS message to number

5. Integrated Information Election System of Bosnia and Herzegovina (JIIS BiH)
Realization of the project started in February of 2010, having four stages,
BiH CEC‘s system had 26 modules (related to the BiH CEC mandate),
New system integrated all 26 modules into single application.
