8. Being Prepared
We have numerous entries and exits here at the church. Maintaining control (locking and securing) when entering and exiting the building, ensuring that these doors remained locked and secured is all of our responsibility.

It will consist of individuals that have
experience or training relating to security and medical
training. If you have training or experience that is relative to
participating in this area and would like to serve please
contact an elder or deacon for consideration.

13. Taking Action Small Children and older members
Please protect and assist small children and older members get to cover and safety as quickly as possible
Assist our visitors as they will not be familiar with our building
Members with Carry Permits
Feel free to carry while at church
Do so responsibly
Please keep firearms concealed
Do not handle your firearm while in the building
Never remove your firearm from its stored position or show it to anyone
During an Active Shooter Incident
Remain calm
Gain situational awareness
Let the security team neutralize the threat unless you are in a position to SAFELY and ACCURATELY neutralize the threat while protecting the lives of others

14. Taking Action IMPORTANT Avoid Crossfire Always look beyond the target
Neutralizing doesn’t mean neccessarily killing
