Rural Hall Elementary What is a School-Parent Compact?
Building Partnerships Curriculum Night is an opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom and obtain information about what they will be learning this year. It will be held September 6th. -In order to volunteer you must be approved by the school system. Contact Amy Taylor, if you are interested or go on the WSFCS website and complete the online application. A School-parent Compact is an agreement between parents, students, and teachers. It explains how teachers and families will work together to make sure students are meeting expectations. Communication about Student Learning The parents, students and staff of Rural Hall Elementary developed this School-Parent Compact. Teachers included strategies for student success, parents made suggestions to help clarify information, and students told us what would help them learn. Each year a meeting is held to review the compact with families.
