-WANTED- VOLUNTEERS TO WALK THE BEACH Mote Marine Laboratory is looking for volunteers, over the age of 12, who have asthma or chronic lung disease to participate in a study regarding the human health effects from exposure to the Florida red tide. Participants in the study must live in Florida for at least six months of the year. Volunteers will be asked to complete activities such as answering a questionnaire and performing a breathing test prior to walking on the beach and after walking on the beach- during a red tide and during no red tide.
