6. Benefits of a gender specific U16 League.
Clubs A clear developmental and competitive pathway for both males and female players within clubs.
Increased club membership and income.
Female and male specific water polo coaching opportunities.
More opportunities to recruit volunteers.
Shared training time with both junior boys and junior girls squad maximises more players in pool and less cost/player.   
Players
Players developing and playing in all water polo positions.
Allow males to be more competitive when challenging for the ball.
Match practise development of passing, shooting, positioning, fitness, tackling, blocking, tactical awareness and all aspects of water polo for males.

7. Benefits of a gender specific U16 League.
Proposal
Set up of a female Scottish under 16 league to be played in the same format as the female Scottish under 18 league in 2018.
Set up a male Scottish under 16 league to be played in the same format as the female Scottish under 18 league in 2018.
As an interim measure, females should be able to play in the Scottish U16 male league, however the eligibility of females should be moved to U18 females, providing a 2 year age difference between the genders. This interim measure should be reviewed at the next AGM in 2018 to determine the sustainability of separate male and female leagues going forward.
