Climate 2014 in the Netherlands the climate is simple.
In winter it is cold and there is a lot of snow and rain. In summer it is warm but some days they can have heat waves but not often enough to show on charts.

Architecture In the Netherlands there are a variety's of houses.
Some people work a lot so they just have a small house to sleep and eat in. A lot of people have families so they live in big houses with a big backyard which mostly grows tulips. There are also couples of people that mostly live in high-rises. Then there are old couples that like to live in houses on the creek with a tulip garden. That’s the variety in Netherlands.

Physical Geography Netherlands is a very flat country almost 25% of it below sea level. In the Netherlands the country's highest point is located in Vaalserberg, rising to 322 m (1,053 ft). The reason why there are so many windmills on the low lying land is because there are so many floods. By using the windmills it is helping move the water away from the land and back to sea. In 1953, extremely high water caused nearly 2,000 deaths.

Human Geography The latest recording of the population in Netherlands was in 2013 and it was recorded that 16.8 million people live in Netherlands. In the Netherlands they speak Dutch but there is still a lot of people speaking English. In the Netherlands everyone has the right to define themselves it even applies to children, women, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. There is no selected religion in the Netherlands 99% Literacy: definition: age 15 and over can read and write.

Tourist Attractions The Delta Project are a series of constructions built between 1950 and 1997. The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is the largest and most prestigious museum for art and history in the Netherlands. More than old windmills still exist in the Netherlands. The Hog Veluwe National Park is one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. Keukenhof Gardens is the world’s largest flower garden, and actually a promotion for the Dutch flower industry. Approximately seven million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park with not only tulips, but also hyacinths,

Dutch Dancing The history of Dutch Dance began in 1935 with a local high school girls performing at the Tulip Time Festival. They were dressed in costumes and were called Klompen Dancers. Originally the dancers’ costumes were delft blue with white organdy caps and aprons. In 1953 a compilation of Dutch Folk music was created, Dutch Dance as we know it was choreographed and standards for costumes were developed. Today’s Dancers wear costumes patterned after the traditional dress of the Dutch Provinces. Each costume is handmade by local seamstresses and carefully inspected before it can be worn in the Dutch Dance performances. Even to today most of the dancers where clogs.
