A Healthier ME aimed to develop a pro-active approach to healthy lifestyles and dietary management for adults with learning disability. Working collaboratively between the Scottish Borders Learning Disability Service, Joint Health Improvement Team, 3rd Sector Service Providers and volunteers, a series of workshops and events were held during summer/autumn 2013 which benefited a total of 19 participants. 24 members of staff passed the REHIS Nutrition Course for Carers od Adults with a Learning Disability.
