One thing I attended a few years ago was a rock group concert. It was absolutely amazing and I think one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever been part of. It felt great to see this huge crowd of people all gathered together to enjoy music. It was summer and actually it was really boiling, but it didn’t stop all these people getting together.

Extreme adjectives contain the idea of ‘very’ in their definitions – ‘freezing’ means ‘very cold’ etc.

We can use very and really and extremely with base adjectives.
It’s was really hot. It was very hot.

We can use absolutely and really with extreme adjectives.
That was absolutely fantastic. We were really exhausted.
