A first year PhD student in applied Mathematics at INRIA - the French national institute for research in computer and control systems, working in joint collaboration with Eurocontrol – the European organisation for the safety in air navigation. I would like to present to you today the study I have been working on as part of my thesis. “Session 2” Objectives ASAS Separation and Self-Separation Track toward: An assessment of operational feasibility and acceptability of the related procedures; An extension of the current procedures; An integration of the actual concept of operations; An operational paradigm for future concepts; Guidelines for ASAS prototype development.

Guidelines Presenters will feed/lead the discussion;
Audience participation is expected and required, during the discussion session, to provide the key issues with regards to the operational feasibility and acceptability, the integration and extension of the current procedures, a paradigm for future concepts, as well as to the guidelines for ASAS prototype development; Chairman & Secretary will steer and report the discussion;
