Agape love (as taught in the Bible and practiced like Jesus):
Is unconditional (Rom. 5:8)
Is unselfish (Phil. 2:3a, 4)
Is unwavering in its pursuit for what is best for the one loved (Rom. 15:2; Phil. 2:3b; 1 Thess. 5:15)
Hate-resisting, agape love (like Jesus) is practiced toward:
Those who hate you, harm you, hurt you, humiliate you
Those who are different than you—think/look/talk different

4. Jesus looked at everything through the lens of the cross
We must learn to look at PEOPLE (as Jesus does) = SOULS THAT NEED TO BE SAVED (John 4:4, 7, 35)!
We must learn to look at SITUATIONS (as Jesus does) = OPPORTUNITIES (John 10:31-39; 5:16; 7:19; 8:37)!
We must learn to look at SELF (as Jesus does) = NOT YOUR OWN (John 5:19, 30; 8:28; 1 Cor. 6:19-20)!

You must repent of your sins and turn to God – Acts 3:19
You must confess your faith in Jesus – Romans 10:10
You must be immersed into Christ – Mark 16:16

God will add you to His church – Acts 2:47
God will enroll you in heaven – Hebrews 12:23
You must live faithfully to His will – Matthew 7:21
