Christians consider love to be very important. It is the meaning of life for them. God created out of love and so it is no coincidence that people are literally made through a physical expression of love.

So sex is not something dirty or wrong. When it is used in the right way it is something that binds two people together to become one flesh and makes them closer. So God gave us sex to deepen our marital relationships and to allow us to create children through that love.
