The Torbay Eye replaced the Hot air balloon in 2014 due to high wind which resulting in the hot air balloon popping. The pavilions that shut down in late 2012 Fountain and stream, it commemorates princess Dianna who died in 1997 taxi office I took this picture of the ‘Torbay eye’ in July of 2016, on the way back from work, it was roughly 6pm taken from the bridge opposite the Green Ginger (pub). This denotation of this photo features quite a few things that stand out, such as the pavilions, the fountain and the trees. The connotation of this photo could be related to a fun fair due to the placement of the wheel. Also the image of a seaside town on a summers evening. The clouds in this photo create an affect as they surround everything but have broken apart where the wheel is stood, it almost makes it look as though the wheel has come out of the sky to make the clouds break apart. I used a filter called Gingham it is one of the filters from my phone. This filter makes the clouds and sky more noticeable, it also makes the picture feel more peaceful, it is a very calm picture, there is not much going on, it makes you feel relaxed. The rule of thirds does apply to this photo because when you look at this picture, the first thing you notice is the ‘Torbay eye’ to the right of this photo. All the lighting in this picture is natural apart from the lights on the little building on the bottom of the picture. The shutter speed on this photo was quick, I took roughly 13 photos in 7 seconds. It has a deep depth of view as the whole photo is focused. The target audience is for people who enjoy scenery and enjoy going on walks around seaside towns.
