Fundraising Basics -$150 deposit for all students going due in October of 8th grade. -Final cost of trip (mode of transportation) will be decided Fall of 8th grade -Parents leading fundraising efforts decide on a percentage of funds that will be set aside for scholarships (example 25%) -Final amount due March of 8th grade year “Washington truly is a Game of Thrones.” Frank Underwood

September 2017 – Initial parent meeting, identify chairpersons December Begin Fundraising September/October Parent Meeting, Deposit Due, Scholarship Application Due December 2018 – Fundraising Completed, Scholarships Awarded, Remaining Balances sent to all Families March 2019 – Balance Paid in Full May 2019 – Final Parent and Student Meeting with Vendor “Am I really the sort of enemy you want to make?” Claire Underwood

Parent Participation Ideally 3-4 parents take the lead in our fundraising efforts All parents are expected to participate in some capacity Fundraisers are parent-led. Teachers will help facilitate and provide students with advisory time to help and plan activities. “Power is always better than money.” Frank Underwood
