2 Sponges look like plants bodies are full of holes
skeletons made of spiky fibers gets it food when water flows through the holes – food becomes trapped

3 Corals, Hydras, & Jellyfish
corals – soft, tube-like body with single opening surrounded by tentacles sea anemones – tentacles help it move from place to place & trap food jellyfish – drifts through water, uses tentacles to catch food

4 Worms tube-shaped invertebrates
flatworms – flattened body (ex: tapeworm can live inside body of other animals) roundworms – round bodies (can make other animals sick) segmented worms – body divided into segments (ex: leeches, earthworms)

5 Starfish & Sea Urchins have tiny tube feet
body arranged around a central area

6 Arthropods jointed legs & exoskeletons molts – sheds old exoskeleton
ex: lobsters, insects insects – body divided into 3 parts, 6 legs, two pairs of wings Spiders – have 8 legs, jaws, fangs
