The Operation of Gravity Chutes, air slides and belt conveyers
2
A Gravity chute A gravity conveyor in the form of an inclined plane, trough, or framework that depends on sliding friction to control the rate of descent McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Scientific & Technical Terms, 6E, Copyright © 2003 by The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. Most commonly seen is the disposing of waste materials. Virtually anything you can convey on a gravity, power, or belt line can be moved on a chute system.
4
Belt Conveyer A conveyor belt or belt conveyor is a distribution system which consists of two or more pulleys, with a continuous loop of material - the conveyor belt - that rotates about them. One or both of the pulleys are powered, moving the belt and the material on the belt forward. The powered pulley is known as the drive pulley while the unpowered pulley is called the idler.
5
There are two main industrial classes of belt conveyors
Those in general material handling such as those moving boxes along inside a factory and bulk material handling such as those used to transport industrial and agricultural materials, such as grain, coal, ores, etc. generally in outdoor locations.
6
Generally companies providing general material handling type belt conveyors do not provide the conveyors for bulk material handling. In addition there are a number of commercial applications of belt conveyors such as those in grocery stores.

Air slides Air Slide Systems are used for the dust-free conveyance of powdery to fine -grained bulk material which can be fluidized. Remarkable features of MPC air-slides are their:: - maintenance freedom - low investing costs - low demand of energy - high operational reliability - high feeding capacity - and the availability of various types
9
Espacially suitable for:: - cement, - fly-ash - ready plaster, - phosphate
-aluminium oxide
