Hypothesis: Is there enough entertainment in Melbourne?
Why: To see what the most popular forms of entertainment are in Melbourne, for different age groups.

3. Method How did you collect the data for the survey?
We found that the easiest people to go and ask for surveys were people who were working in the shopping plaza across the road from the main building.
Where did you go and collect data?
On the first day of research we went to the Spencer street DFO, the next day we went to the library and the plaza across the road from the main building.
How many people did we survey?
Why did we survey these people?
They didn’t look too busy or in a hurry, and they were in the age groups that we needed more surveys for.
What sex/ age were they?
The people to approach were women, especially those in an older age group.

4. Interview
We decided to do our interview at AFL World, because it provides a different age group with entertainment.
The questions we asked were
What entertainment do you provide? Interactive & hands on, kick for goal etc.
When is AFL World most popular? School holidays & grand finals.
What is the age majority of people who visit? Children & school groups.
On average how many people go to AFL World per day? About 300.

6. Analysis.
Where the results surprising? The results weren’t surprising, though everyone did think that there was a good & wide variety of entertainment around Melbourne. The opinion about the safety of entertainment venues were spread, some thinking yes, and some thinking no. Residents in Melbourne seem to be happy with the entertainment that they have.
Do the results support your hypothesis? Yes, the majority of people seemed to be very satisfied with the entertainment in Melbourne.
