In Chestnut we LISTENED to the French Elmer story and LISTENED for the colours we had been learning last year. We chose 6 colours and then using the vocabulary we had been practising, we worked out a French sentence.

4. We then had a special visitor, who spoe only French and taught us seasons, months, days and filmed us for our new French Pen Pals. It was SOOOOOOOOOO exciting!
