Entry level - Junior Photographer Dobell Menswear - Brighton
What the role entails – When doing this job I will be expected to capture photos of the clothing and make it look appealing to everyone to wear. I will be working with clothing company to discuss the images they require and how they want to use them to display their products. Responsibilities in this job – This job has many responsibilities such as: Photographing our products on models and mannequins in our purpose built studio and also Being creative and working with a team to create beautiful imagery. Are you in charge of people? I wouldn’t be in charge of people as this is an entry level job, this means that in this work place there will be many people that have greater knowledge and experience than myself. So therefore, it would be better for them to tell me what to do as they have be doing this for much longer than I have. I would report and submit the work to the Senior Fashion Photographer. He would help me improve and give me feedback on my work. This job would pay £20,000 per annum This job is regular work as it’s full time work 9am – 5 pm. In this job they are open to many different skill sets. However, you need excellent level of photographic knowledge and training including studio lighting also a strong portfolio that demonstrates sufficient knowledge and techniques of digital photography and lighting. What are the pros and cons of this job compared to the other job? Pros- The pros are that the money is good starting salary The working hours are very good Cons- The job is in Brighton, this is far away from where I live.

Senior level - Senior Photographer / Studio manager Independent Photography Studios
What the role entails – An exciting opportunity to join a very large and fast growing photographic and video production studios in Solihull. Responsibilities in this job – The role of a Senior Photographer / Studio manger within the digital photography / videography industry will be expecting you to uphold and develop the client relationships and ensure consistent quality of work produced. Are you in charge of people? – In this job you are in charge of mentoring junior staff and providing training to less experienced team members. Who do you report to? – In this job you would report to the Director / Senior Producer, company CEO and MD This job would pay £33,000 per annum This job is regular work as it’s full time work 9am – 5 pm. To get this job you would need an excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of communication, Good command of English language, both written and spoken and creative and technical ability in regard to equipment. Pros – You have responsibilities in the company The pros are that the money is good starting salary The working hours are very good Cons – The job is in Solihull, this is far away from where I live. If you get something wrong then you are responsible as your are a senior.
