Appointments and More info on PSAT coming, spearheaded by Ms. Carswell and the testing coordinator What do I mean by Portfolio development? Resumes, transcript evaluations, running list of classes, activities, awards, leadership roles, etc In house college visits will start in late September.

Group Counseling (Trauma-Informed Schools) Classroom Guidance Lessons Grade Level Assemblies After-school Programs Community Partnerships/Programs Process for making an appointment (come down to my office in the morning, before 1st period, before 8:40 am orrrrrrr, if you really want to impress me, me your request-really want you guys to get in the habit of doing things like adults) Brief summary of what trauma is and how it can affect your life, especially your learning and other school-related behaviors. Monthly basis is the goal but will be working with teachers on how best to do this and protect instruction Please, please, please, show up, take them seriously and be prepared to take notes, regard them as department meetings at work Opportunities for you to network and build your portfolio. Listen for announcements, frequent the College & Career Center, ANDDDDD check your ! See above, build your network, take advantage of all the resources provided.
