:: today’s agenda NEW UPDATES TO THE MID-TERM HTML FILES!!!
I have brought in new html files (18 total). Per our discussion last class, I made the following three changes to all 18 html files: I added div id’s to each mainnav list item (so that you can create image rollovers for each one, if you’d like to). I added a “header” div for clarity and better coding setup. I renamed the “headerarea” div id to “links” for clarity and better naming. From Photoshop to HTML/CSS I will go over more details and practices for how to continue coding your mid-term project and how to best add graphics to your code

due :: NMA Web Site CSS Redesign Purpose/Objective: To analyze and apply client-side coding techniques in a real world application To analyze and apply the visual elements of line, shape, value, color, texture, time, space, motion and the design principles of balance, rhythm, emphasis, contrast, variation, repetition, and unity to an interface design project. To complete the creative problem-solving process from the preliminary planning stage through revisions to the final product. To experiment by taking risks through the process of exploration during the creative problem solving process. To demonstrate strong group communication skills and the ability to speak clearly during critiques. Assignment: Using the folder structure and html files provided for you, design and implement the visual look and feel for the New Media Arts website. You can use three CSS files and an unlimited number of images. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE HTML FILES! Format: You will be handing in your assignment by posting the site on your Art 128 class web site that resides on the www2.hawaii.edu server.
