5 Community Service Hours
A total of 10 community service hours will be due no later than January 19th When you have completed hours, turn in log to one of the officers or to Mrs. Bonell

6 Ideas for Volunteer Work
Within the Community Within Schools Volunteer at Tryon Palace, Carteret Health Care Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium Havelock Library Cherry Point Library Help Neighbor with yard work (for free) Crystal Coast Hospice House Box Tops for Education (3 minutes each/ 20 per hour) Campbell Soup Labels (3 minutes each/ 20 per hour) Soda Tabs (1 minute each) Concession Stand (next slide)

7 Concession Stands Beta members can volunteer to work concession stands during spring sport games. Contact Coach Wiggins for dates and extra info.

8 Box Tops for Graham A. Barden
One (1) Box Top for Education or one (1) Campbell Soup Label will be worth 3 minutes. 20 labels for a hour. Maximum: 3 hours

9 Hour Logs Volunteer Logs are Due January 19th and no later
Logs can be turned into Class Representatives, other officers or Mrs. Bonell. If you do not turn your log in, you may be suspended from Beta for next semester.

10 State Convention Who: 20 Beta Club Members
See Mrs. Bonell to sign up if interested When: Friday, February 2nd and Saturday, February 3rd Where: Greensboro, NC What: Compete in academic skills tests, team competitions, and club competitions (see next slides) Cost: Approximately $ per person not including meals
