A timeline of important events
Always in 3rd person!

Story is NOT written by the author (written by someone else)
Story is NOT about the author

7. Autobiographies
A text written by the actual person to inform you about their life.
Author uses narration to tell the story of his/her life.
Told in 1st person point of view.
Tells meaningful events
May share lessons learned
