1 The Folk Haven Museum, the history of Snow White by Cody Palmer

2 Welcome to the Folk Haven Museum, the history of Snow White, today we will show you pictures, and illustrations of Snow White.  These pictures spread out from the 1880s up until  They are also from a wide variety of artists, and therefore there are a lot of different styles in each different of the pictures.

3 Snowdrop was made by W. C. Drupsteen in 1885
Snowdrop was made by W.C. Drupsteen in This illustration shows Snow White setting the table for her friends, while they are away. It seems to be placed in the middle of the day, because the clock reads around 12:20, and it looks to be sunny outside of the house. This is an older picture, and you can tell by the old fashion clock, and frame of the house. There are old style windows, and wooden chairs set up.

4 This was made by Herman Voge in 1894
This was made by Herman Voge in The happy feel in this picture is very obvious. It is shown with the smiles and laughter of the small men. It is also shown, because the one guy is hugging a small animal, and he is cuddling with it. This also has a relaxed feeling with it, because they are just sitting outside of their house having fun, and two of the men look to be playing some type of board game.

5 Newell, Peter, illustrator
Newell, Peter, illustrator. Favorite Fairy Tales: The Childhood Choice of Representative Men and Women. New York: Harper & Brothers, This shows the dwarves huddled over Snow White as she lays in her dark sleep. They put a focus on Snow White, because she is the main person in the story. It is a dark picture, because they think she is dead.

6 Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm. Grimm's Fairy Tales
Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm. Grimm's Fairy Tales. Charles Folkard, illustrator. London: Adam and Charles Black, This illustration like the last one has the focus on Snow White, however Snow White is shown as a much younger girl. The dwarves in this story however think that Snow White is only sleeping, and show some optimism.

7 Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm. Grimm's Fairy Tales. John B
Grimm, Jacob and Wilhelm. Grimm's Fairy Tales. John B. Gruelle, illustrator. Margaret Hunt, translator. New York: Cupples & Leon, This picture only has 6 dwarves and is missing one, five of the dwarves are focused on Snow White, while one of the dwarves was looking for something else, possibly the other dwarf. This picture is meant to look like an older style picture.

8 Jacobs, Joseph, ed. European Folk and Fairy Tales
Jacobs, Joseph, ed. European Folk and Fairy Tales. John Batten, illustrator. New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, This picture is a very dark picture, this picture shows the dwarves praying for Snow White. The one dwarf looks like he is checking the pulse of Snow White to see if she is alive. This picture is more realistic, and shows what the dwarves could of looked like, instead of having a cartoon look.

9 Made by Warwick Goble in This picture shows Snow White and Red Rose trying to save their dwarf friend from a bird. This puts an emphasis on how small the guy is and the good will of Snow White and Red Rose to save their friend.

10 This picture was made by Hilda Boswell in 1977
This picture was made by Hilda Boswell in This picture shows the scene where Snow White is given the poison apple from the witch. This picture is made to make it seem like the witch is a helpless old lady and is made to look innocent. However, the old lady has an evil grin on her face that could prove otherwise.

11 This picture was made by Tony Wolf in 1990
This picture was made by Tony Wolf in This illustration gives off a happy mood. It makes you happy for Snow White, because she is getting married into royalty. There are lights in the background, and everyone is smiling, in order to show the good nature of everything at this time.

12 This picture was made by Camille Rose Garcia in 2012
This picture was made by Camille Rose Garcia in This is the most recent picture of Snow White. This isn’t your typical Snow White, because this is a darker sadistic version of Snow White. The witch, and huntsman in this are in all darker green and black. The huntsman is crying, because he is forced into this by the witch. The scenery in this is a dark spooky forest, however Snow White still has her animal companions on her side. The bleeding apple is meant to show the bleeding heart of Snow White.
