Notes about Admitting an Applicant Once an applicant is tagged, dragged or given a Coordinator Decision of Admit, the Vice Dean will be notified If the Vice Dean approves, the Doctoral Office will then run a background check of the applicants. Once the background check is complete, the Doctoral Coordinator will receive a notification asking for the Offer Letter, which must approved by the Vice Dean and the Doctoral Programs office before it sent to the admit. Once the Vice Dean approves, the background check is complete, and the offer letter approved, the Coordinator/department may send an offer letter to the admit Please be sure to CC and send a copy of the offer letter to the Doctoral Programs office Notes about Waitlisting an Applicant Once an applicant is tagged, dragged or given a Coordinator Decision of Waitlist, the Vice Dean will be notified If the Vice Dean approves the Waitlist, the Doctoral Coordinator will receive a notification of the Vice Dean decision The Doctoral Coordinator will need to make a final decision on the applicant (Admit or Deny) by the April 15th admissions deadline
