The survey showed that most students interviewed have access to the internet by means of either mobile data or WiFi

The most common means of internet access is through Wireless connection probably as a result of all public WiFi hotspots

The South African government or particularly the Pretoria district is moving closer and closer towards internet access freedom, they are attempting to award everyone the opportunity to access free internet access wherever they might be.

5. Skills with regards to internet usage
While there might be an attempt to ensure the same opportunities with internet access there still lies an issue of utilizing the given resources and the result was inconsistent with regards to skill as some users are proficient while others are more on the average side.

6. Can skill and access be linked
Access is a result of economic freedom or given opportunity, but skill is more on the side of education and understanding as such they cannot be linked. Everybody has access to a classroom but not everybody will pass, especially if they don’t believe that its important
