How does ringworm spread?
The fungal agents from the ring worm can spread directly from direct contact. The fungal agents can also spread in directly through clips, hair, and shower stalls and floors. You can also get ringworm from touching pets that have the fungal agents for ringworm.

Research is being used to make a vaccine so you will always be immune to ringworm. Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine is study ringworm specifically on felines. More research is being put into preventing ringworm, than just treating it.
