1 STUDY IT FOR YOURSELF! Have the attitude of the Bereans…
… take what you are taught and search the Scriptures each day to see if what was taught is what the Word of God says [Acts 17:11]! Have the attitude of the Bereans…

2 Jesus – His Life Jesus – WHO IS This Man? Part 8:

3 Bible Trivia – How many wise men were there? Don’t know for certain…
Assumption – 3 gifts -- 3 wise men. Where was Jesus when the wise men visited Jesus? Not in the stable… Jesus was in the house [Matthew 2:11].

4 The MOST IMPORTANT Question you will ever answer!
JESUS – WHO IS THIS MAN? The MOST IMPORTANT Question you will ever answer!

5 EITHER moves YOU CLOSER to REAL FAITH!
Mark 4:35 – 6:29 Details a DISCUSSION about Jesus IDENTITY! The POWER of Jesus FORCES people to MAKE DECISIONS about Jesus’ identity. EITHER moves YOU CLOSER to REAL FAITH! OR moves YOU FURTHER AWAY from REAL FAITH!

6 Mark 4:35-41 [41] and they became very much afraid and said to one another, “WHO THEN IS THIS, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

7 Andrew & Peter [John 1:37-41]
[41] He (Andrew), found first his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the MESSIAH” (which translated means Christ).

8 Philip & Nathanael [John 1:43-49]
[43] The next day He purposed to go forth into Galilee, and He found Philip. And Jesus said to him, “FOLLOW ME.” [45] Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

9 Philip & Nathanael [John 1:43-49]
[46] And Nathanael said to him (Philip), “CAN ANY GOOD THING come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “COME and SEE.” [47] Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!”

10 “Do God the Father and Jesus the Son KNOW ME?”
Philip & Nathanael [John 1:43-49] [48a] Nathanael said to Him, “HOW DO YOU KNOW ME?” Another IMPORTANT Question: “Do God the Father and Jesus the Son KNOW ME?”

11 1 Corinthians 8:2-3 THEY ARE KNOWN BY HIM.
[2] If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; [3] BUT IF anyone LOVES GOD, THEY ARE KNOWN BY HIM.

12 JUST AS I HAVE BEEN FULLY KNOWN.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully JUST AS I HAVE BEEN FULLY KNOWN.

13 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “THE LORD KNOWS those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord abstain from wickedness.”

14 Philip & Nathanael [John 1:43-49] [48] Nathanael said to Him, “HOW DO YOU KNOW ME?” Jesus answered and said to him, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you." [49] Nathanael answered Him, “Rabbi, You are the SON of God; You are the KING of Israel.”

15 John 7:40-48 [40] Some of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, were saying, “This certainly is the Prophet.” (of Deuteronomy 18:15) [41] Others were saying, “This is the Christ.”…

16 John 7:40-48 [41] … Still others were saying, “SURELY the Christ is not going to come from Galilee, is He? [42] “Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”

17 John 7:40-48 [43] So there arose a DIVISION in the multitude because of Him. [44] And some of them wanted to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him. [45] The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why did you not bring Him?”

18 John 7:40-48 [46] The officers answered, “Never did a man speak the way this man speaks.” [47] The Pharisees therefore answered them, “You have not also been LED ASTRY, have you? [48] “No one of the rulers or Pharisees has believed in Him, has he?”
