References References are people who can recommend you for your skills, abilities, and generally just say how wonderful you are. You will need at least three! Do NOT use your mom, dad, brother, sister, or a friend your age. Teachers, coaches, neighbors, long time family friends, or someone you’ve worked with are good sources.
