2. Tiny Houses: Living Large in a Small Space Project
STUDENTS will be involved with these five components for the tiny house project.
The components are:
Design plan for the tiny house
Floor plan
Budget with construction and décor materials for the tiny house, including eco-friendly items
Interior décor design board of the tiny house
Marketing, promotion, auction to sell the tiny house

4. Students work according to provided Plans
Use the tiny house plan worksheet to help you plan your house.
You will include:
Size of the house
Sketch of how the house will look
Material list
This plan guides CTE students into the other components of the project

5. Students grasp concepts of design
Include the following:
Measurements
Window and door placement
Storage
Total square footage
Room dimensions
Correct labeling
Must include a living area, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and storage

6. Students are exposed to project budgets
Students gain experience in:
Construction supplies
Tools and equipment
Furniture
Appliances
Backgrounds
Accessories
Lighting
Costs effectiveness

7. Kentucky work
