This does not mean that you will always have to get As and Bs. Sometimes, you will learn the most when you earn a C. Earn good grades Writing is in every part of college classes. Writing well takes time and practice. Get involved During the summer find activities that are of interest to you. It will help you figure out if you want to do it as a career. Junior Year English III or Honors English III
Algebra II, Applied Algebra II, Honors Trig and Pre-Calculus, or Probability and Statistics Chemistry II, Environmental Science, Anatomy & Physiology, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Career Search Financial Literacy Technology or Fine Arts (if you haven’t already had) PSAT – chance for national scholarships ACT or SAT - take it at least once junior year Take the OGT again if you have not passed all 5 parts (October and March)

Hutchins Take the most challenging classes that you can succeed in It is the last chance for colleges to see what you can do Even if you have slacked off freshman and sophomore year, you can still impress colleges Take the ACT or SAT at least once Explore and visit perspective colleges, trade schools, or technical schools Not everyone is meant for the traditional school, but some form of education past high school is necessary Search for scholarships and other ways to pay for school Talk to your parents about budgets, scheduling, and options If you do not know what you want to do, that is ok.
