3 Overview of Office Rationalisation Project.
The Office Rationalisation Project was approved by Council in June 2014, this project will reduce the amount of office space occupied by the Council by over 53%, and deliver revenue savings of over £300,000 per annum. To date we have: Relocated 280 staff from Rosebery Place to Aurora House. Relocated Elected Members from Rosebery Place to Clydebank Town Hall Commenced enabling works to deliver the new Dumbarton Office. Relocated Bridge Street staff, to allow strip out works to commence in September 2016. Appointed a contractor to commence works on new Clydebank Town Centre office Commenced the refurbishment of the Dumbarton Municipal Building.

Works to refurbish 2 Sylvania Way in the CoOp Building in Clydebank are scheduled to commence on 31st August.

8 Bridge Street Design Concepts
Design proposals are currently being developed for Bridge Street with Strip out works to commence in September This facility will be used by Health and Social Care Partnership staff currently based in Garshake, Church Street (Alexandria) and also the Municipal Building. Works are due to be complete by March 2017

9 Municipal Building Works have commenced on the refurbishment of the Municipal Building, including new roof, stonework repair and electrical rewire. Criminal Justice team currently in this building will relocate to Bridge Street in 2017.

10 Municipal Building – Future Space Allocation Proposals
The following two slides propose how space could be allocated within the Municipal Buildings for Elected Members within Dumbarton. As well as providing accommodation for Elected members it is proposed that the building is occupied by Registrars, Committee Services, Members Services, the Election Office, Audit and Compliance the Legal Services team HR and Trade Union representatives. We would appreciate your feedback on the proposed plans and any comments you may have.

13 Municipal Building – Next Steps
Timescales – it is proposed that the relocation to the Municipal Buildings will happen prior to the move to the new Dumbarton office, towards the end of 2017. Support will be provided from within the Office Rationalisation Project team to assist with ICT and also review Document Management and retention schedules for Elected Members. Requirements – It would be appreciated if we could work with a George Hawthorn, Member Services and Elected Members to develop specific requirements you may have about your future accommodation.
