2 Outcome of the electronics review
The outcome of the review is very positive No major problem with the foreseen implementation Thank you to All those who contributed to the review To the referees We have to think about the response of the group to the report Should be discussed today during the analog / digital sessions The document written will help us to write the electronics parts of the TDR to come But the format is not the same → some reshuffling is necessary

6 MC simulations SPD/PRS removal does not work in GAUSS and BRUNEL
Some xml files concerning the SPD/PRS are required Plan is to keep them in the next release of GAUSS temporarily No arm, the files are useless But unfortunately, the software needs the files to be there The second problem is more annoying Brunel needs to access some containers for electron reconstruction The corresponding algorithms need some PRS/SPD information Hard coded in the software Brunel crashes abruptly Olivier works on this in order to be able to configure correctly the algorithms. We have 3 large samples which have been produced by Paul No SPD/PRS A simple trick → Brunel does not crash anymore But, electrons are not reconstructed 3 completed productions : event type ( Bs_phigamma=DecProdCut ) Nu= 3.8, 7.6, ~100k events per sample.

7 Spares We plan to re-use a fraction of the present system
The problem of the spares is more severe than for any new system Systems made by external companies PMT Power supplies (aging, cumulated radiation effects) Fan Systems made by the LHCb groups Do we have any tension on the boards that we want to keep HV, calibration system Plan to use PRS/SPD power supplies as spares We have ~300 PMT spares → some may be used by 2015 Contact taken with Hamamatsu It seems that the reference we used (R ) is still available Question on some ambiguity on the type of window Price of a series of PMT Wait for the answer from Hamamatsu
