19. Key features of the RNA Questionnaire
Important to remember:
If a participant doesn’t know the answer to a question or doesn’t want to answer there is always an ‘escape’ option.
All mandatory questions have the options ‘don’t know’ or ‘prefer not to answer’
For numerical question entering DNK will allow you to move to the next question.

20. Top-up RNA with sector-specific questions
RNA tool covers basic topics organised by cluster – Food Security, WASH, Emergency Livelihoods and Markets, Health, Protection, Education and Shelter/NFI
If relevant, partners conducting an RNA are encouraged to include specialized questions from other sectors, e.g. nutrition:
Has infant milk formula being distributed since the emergency started?
Did you have any nutrition counselling while you were at the health facility?
Are nutrition services are placed and practiced by health staff in ward of growth monitoring?
First two are directed at the community, third question at health facility staff – therefore careful KI selection should be practiced for more specialized questions
