Siphon flushing In-sewer and works data Operational response South Esplanade Pumping Station upgrade completed Aberdeen Network study Communication SW Webpage - Minutes, presentations, updates Professor Jackson Primary School updates Regular reminders to hauliers Monthly summary via TORO Site Visit – 19th May 2016 Collaboration Operational Liaison Meetings Sharing of best practice Technical support Torry Odour Management Group & TORO Operational Liaison – SW/Kelda Regular dialogue and sharing of information. Networks – ongoing work with colleagues in Asset Management, Capital Investment and Operations. I’ve had examples of proactive work at South Esplanade and reactive works in other areas such as Girdleness Road, helped by Caitlin’s feedback and customer calls. Works are ongoing at South Esplanade – issues with control panel and accessing the wet well. However, local odours seem to have ceased and we will assess this from the in-sewer logging data. Infrared image also included. In the colder weather, we’ll look for hotspots to understand any ongoing residual risk. Comms – keep the dialogue going with updates. This month, Clive will visit Tullos Primary School. Maintaining close links through the TOMG but be reminded that SEPA and ACC are Regulators and they are doing their job. Collaboration – working across teams within Scottish Water and with Kelda. Weekly meetings to monitor project delivery. SEPA regularly sit in on Kelda operational meetings. Links have been built up with the Kirkcaldy operational team. Visits – no reason why Nigg shouldn’t be a showpiece and welcome visitors. Suggest another stakeholder visit into the New Year. Will also be worth re-running the tour of the area that was undertaken in January 2015. Credit: @northeast_shooter, Instagram
