2 What is this class about?
Health Assisting(CNA) Health Assisting (Certified Nursing Assistant) program offers students the opportunity to develop the academic and technical skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a health-related career. In the 9 th and 10 th grade, students learn the specialized computer skills necessary to function effectively in a doctor’s office, hospital or HMO setting. In the 11th and 12th grade, students in the Health Assisting program concentrate their education on the skills necessary to make them proficient in the Certified Nurse Assistant pathway.

3 Why does this class interest me?
This (CTE) program interest me beacause I like helping people when they are sick & hurt Another reason why this interest me is beacause I like how different skills is learned in these classes And I always seeing myself as a docter,nurse

4 List of skills I feel that posses that would help you succed in this class ?
Nursing Assistant Skills Nursing assistant skills fall into two main categories: technical and interpersonal. Technical skills include understanding biological and physiological issues, including common disorders and diseases; recording vital signs including respiration, body temperature, pulse and blood pressure; knowledge of infectious diseases and methodologies utilized for infection control; and maintaining patient safety and personal hygiene. Interpersonal or "soft" skills include: providing empathic and compassionate care; impeccable organizational and time management strategies; keen observation and attention to detail regarding patients' mental and physical health; and solid written communication in relation to charting and documentation, plus strong verbal skills for interacting with patients, doctors and families. . 5 How does this class relate to you’re their desired career ?
Ability to Adapt Not only is the health care system changing, but every single day brings different encounters and challenges for nurses or nursing assistants. One day the nursing assistant may work primarily with a handful of patients, but he or she may be working with dozens the next week. Over the course of a couple of hours, a nursing assistant may take vital signs, change bedding, feed meals and complete patient intake forms. No two days in nursing are the same and you have to be able to adapt without any adverse effect on the patients or practice Technologically Savvy Being an early adopter of technology is important in the health care field, as digital health care records, mobile tools and other technology improve both patient care and nurse-to-doctor workflow. Health care is an exciting field to be in for those interested in technical advancements. It’s important to remain knowledgeable on technology trends, so you can be adaptable and your skills always remain sharp. CTE programs rely on partnerships with employers to deliver content and provide learning opportunities outside the classroom. Employers provide information about the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for career progression in the industry clusters; offer real world examples of industry problems and challenges for students to resolve; donate and provide technical equipment; and often supplement instruction by adding their industry expertise to the CTE programs rely on partnerships with employers to deliver content and provide learning opportunities outside the classroom. THERE ARE MANY JOBS OFFERD IN THE CTE PROGRAM THAT HELPS WITH JOBS….CARRER…..HOME…ECT THEY ALSO SHOWS SKILLS TO HELP IN THE FUTURE

8 What are some of the things you would like to avoid in a job carrer ?
You should never yell at you boss or get in a debate with them Arguments other than finding solution together. Because that take times and energy but no effective. I avoid to talk with others in job time, because i'm always silent. i find it easy to work in a group or as part of a team because i am a friendly and social person and easy to get along with……..

9 Who or what in your life would say and influenced you most with regard to your career objective ?
My mother and my uncle and grandfather are the ones usally that in flunce me to go forward and want me to go to collage and stuff to be better in life frm what they did when they was young
