km pavement roads km concrete roads (50% covered with asphalt) 300 million euro budget/year 6 districts 5 different road types (1 high volume - 5 low volume)

5 Asset Management Pavement Maintenance
Decided standard for pavement roads (2010) Objektive condition measurement (Rutting, IRI) PMSv3 Policys and instruktions för planning and treatments Budget (various and depend om winter maintenance) 3 year planning Procurement (specifikation, performance based) Performance Report back in PMSv3 Analyzes Standard: Rutting, IRI, sociaeconimic effekt Speed, and frafic volume. Safety, co2 emissions, noice etc Objektive measurement: km km (2015) RST with 17 lasers. Since middle 60 ths PMSv3: Condition , road,drenage, picture and some information are public 3year planing: 70% is done in 3 year period. Procurement: 5 or 10 year warrenty. No PPP Repport: Whats done

6 Pavement roads not approved.
Example: Roadtype 1 is about 4 %, roadtype 5 and 4 is 50% For each district (5) 6% done every year, 7-8 % needed in 10 years. m2/year Källa : TRV årsredovisning 2015 About 6 % of total roadnetvork are treated each year

7 What to improve? Modify standard for pavement roads (2010)
Method of measuring Parameters för the objektive measurement Possibility to make better/ scenarios in future ISO för Asset Management? Standard: Safety, noise, particles, Co2…. Method: (RST VS 3D scanning?) Parameters: Different types of surface damage, cracks, pottholes, aiging etc Scenarios: Complex ISO : How many parameters, we can take into account in our decision tree for treetments? Computerforce.
