2. Introduction
It is now increasingly frequent use of free software in enterprises and institutions in developing countries. Since no payment is required in software licenses. The use of Linux WEBAGRIS keeps all the functionality of the system and there is no difference between WEBAGRIS on linux and WEBAGRIS on Windows. To perform the installation of linux WEBAGRIS you need: Basic knowledge of Linux OS (installation, configuration and commands)

WebAGRIS on linux is possible with the use of two software that allow a compatibility layer between linux and WebAGRIS

4. Installation of WEBAGRIS under Linux Phase 1 :
Installation Compatibility layer
Is the implementation of API of Win16 and Win32 for operating systems based on Unix under platforms Intel. it permits the execution of program for MS-DOS, Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 ,Windows XP.
The name Wine means Wine Is Not an Emulator , Think of Wine as a compatibility layer for running Windows programs.
WINE Permiteds to install WEBAGRIS, following the established procedure (steps) as described in WEBAGRIS 2.0 manual distributted together with the installation software and can be downloaded from :

apt-get update

Installation Compatibility layer
As its name shows, it is an emulator of DOS for Linux systems. tool allow you to do functions such as import, export, backup/restore and other CDS/ISIS data administrator functions.
It can be activated from the command mode console LINUX using the following sintax:
#: dosemu /Run file Isis.exe
Linux :
apt-get update
apt-get install wine OR

7. Installation de WEBAGRIS under Linux Phase 2 :
Install Web server Xitami.
The installation includes execution of the this file : bw3224d6.exe which is in directory xitami of the installation pack. To execute this exe in Gnu/Linux we have to use wine first installed.
Ex. cd /home/administrador/Desktop/webagris/xitami and to run the following instruction:
wine bw3224d6.exe

8. Installation de WEBAGRIS under Linux Phase 2 :
Install Web server Xitami
The Installatión Xitami.
Is the same as Installation on Windows OS

9. Installation de WEBAGRIS under Linux Phase 2 :

10. Installation of WEBAGRIS under Linux Phase 3 :
Download: Webagris2.zip
Download WEBAGRIS 2.0 from the following link
Create a directory and download the file, following the instructions in the
manual of WEBAGRIS 2.0
Uncompress the file
webagris_en_ zip

In the installation directory there is a file Setup.exe , which has to be executed for installation of WEBAGRIS, using the Following command : wine Setup.exe
