4 How to Network Step 1: Have a purpose/goal
Step 2: Start a conversation! Introvert or extrovert? Make a connection Step 3: Make yourself memorable Connections are just a start! Meet halfway Step 4: Never forget to give & get information (and to use them as well) !

5 Activity #1 Just as we are here to plant the seeds of service, plant the seeds of new relationships! Meet someone from another division and make a connection about anything! Goal: learn something new Ultimate goal: build a relationship to the point of exchanging contact information

6 Do... Don’t... BEE assertive! BEE confident! BEE open-minded
Make the first move BEE confident! Strong handshakes and smiles Body language BEE open-minded Step out of comfort zones Don’t... Force Convo’s! Be aware if they are interested Ramble No like’s & um’s Ask for favors Build a strong relationship first Remember, practice makes perfect!
