1. Futurism poster
This is my poster I chose to do it on the Futurism movement because I found it quite interesting and liked the idea of futurism, I also knew this would be a fun topic to create a piece of work for to. I based my poster on a piece of work that I took inspiration from off the internet. The design is really simple however most work from the futurism movement has a lot of shapes in them especially triangles so I thought this would be good idea to incorporate this in my poster. The big triangle is from a famous piece of Italian futurism work so I thought it would also be nice to use this in my poster. I choose to put the information around the main graphic because I thought it might look different and unique compared to most other posters. I also picked out the information I thought would be suitable for the poster as I didn’t want to make it to complicated with too much text on it. The design is simple but I think it shows futurism in a way because of the objects used, I jumbled up the word futurism in the design because in my opinion I think that conveys a futuristic kind of look.

2. Research
This is some research that I did I thought I would be a good idea to collect some images of futurism art work which I liked and images that I could be inspired by. I chosen quite colourful images because I feel like more colourful images represent futurism better and I also noticed that a lot of the main futurists work during the movement were either very colourful pieces or black and white
This mood board has images of lots of other things related to futurism such as futuristic fashion, product design, architecture, graphic design and artwork. I noticed when doing this everything in the futurism movement consists of some sort of objects and lots of shapes.

3. Futurism design
This is my futurism piece of work which I made by using adobe illustrator and photoshop. I used a picture from my mood board for inspiration when creating this design. I knew that lots of objects were used during the futurism movement so I thought it would be ideal to use them throughout my piece. I created everything but the bottom shapes on illustrator I started with the background I choose the red because I thought it would go well with the other images on my piece. I thought I would use type in my piece to because I think it looks quite good I made the type 3d because it look quite futuristic, I also seen the circles on a lot of futurism art pieces so i used them. I made the stair cases because I thought it would be quite unique and looks a bit different and I feel it goes really well with futurism In my opinion, I seen this idea on a famous Italian futurism piece so I thought it would be good to incorporate this into my design.
The shapes at the bottom were shapes I spotted on a image from the internet so I put the image into photo shop and took the bit I wanted and used it on my poster, I have seen the triangular design on lots of futurism art, and I wanted my design to represent futurism as much as possible so I made it look similar to other art and graphic design pieces I seen.
