Job autonomy was only job characteristic to have a significant association with job stress (negative); non- significant for job satisfaction.
Job variety, training, and supervision all had significant positive relationships with job satisfaction.
Based on R2, job characteristics appear to play a greater role in helping shape job satisfaction than job stress.
