Be A Bucket Filler Be Kind- everything you do or say should be caring or thoughtful, add good thoughts or feelings to someone else. Hang out with other bucket fillers BFF- Bucket Fillers Forever! Treat others how you want to be treated. You cannot be Best Friends Forever without being a Bucket Filler Forever! Do special acts of kindness-these are out of the ordinary good deeds! Doing your best can help fill your own bucket. When you fill someone else’s bucket you fill your own

Don’t Be a Bucket Dipper
Do not say things that are rude or mean. If you dip into someone else’s bucket you dip into your own. Be thoughtful not thoughtless. You can dip by being neglectful Selective dipping is being choosy as to who’s bucket you fill. Cheating is dipping Name calling is dipping Disagreeing ISNT dipping as long as it is respectful Long-handled dipping usually happens by use of technology. If it’s true is it dipping? Ask yourself this instead if it is true is talking about it hurtful?
4
Common Dipping Mistakes
We all make mistakes and accidentally dip. Avoid being a dipper by not saying things when you are angry or upset. “If you cannot say anything nice do not say anything at all.” Remember it is ok to feel angry but it is not ok to act mean. Talking to someone helps. Apologize if you hurt someone, but the key is to try to do better next time. When we dip into others buckets we dip into our own!
5
Use Your Lid Guard and protect your good thoughts and feelings
When someone dips into your bucket you know it because you feel the OUCH! When this happens your lid controls how much is taken out, by your reaction. Protect these thoughts and feelings by surrounding yourself with positive peers.
6
Use Your Lid to Protect Others
Stand up for others that are feeling the OUCH! Always remember that everyone is special and treat them that way!

Bucket Filler’s Pledge
I promise To do my best every day To be a bucket filler, Not to dip, And to use my lid for myself and others At home, At school, And everywhere I go.
