If you agree to have our PTA Room Coordinator (Dhashnaa Chinnasamy) use your address to mail out information from PTA, please fill out and sign the form (blue). Put the blue paper in the Teacher Info basket at the back of the classroom by the long table.
Please read your child’s letter and write a reply.

6. What will homework look like?
New ISD Homework Policy K-2
No more than minutes a night. Please have students read and discuss their reading unless there is a math assignment.
Please spend NO more than minutes on the math homework. STOP if your child is struggling.
No homework on Friday or over breaks.

To help generate ideas for narrative writing, please use a sheet protector and fasten photos, pictures or words that are meaningful for your child. If they’re stuck for something to write about, they can study the page and perhaps get an idea. This was a powerful tool when we wrote personal narratives last year!
