Engage Boomers Who? Why? How?
“When the wisdom of age is mixed with the energy of youth, it creates a powerful combination that benefits everyone.” -Donna Butts, Executive Director Generations United Who and Why provided by Brynn and Jennifer in their presentation. 41M 65 or above. 72M baby boomers. My focus – How?

Engagement – Testimonials & Photo Evidence
Yvonne “I made a decision to volunteer to help keep our children safe when they are walking to school and/or crossing the street. I enjoy being the "eyes on the street" and teaching children how important it is to use the crosswalks and to be alert so they don't get hurt. It is such an honor and a privilege to be able to do this because as a 65-year-old retired widow I get to go out and mingle in our community, meet some of the neighbors, and participate in the Walking School Bus events. Walk On.....Safely” First though, a testimonial to share. Yvonne – Grandma to Ethan at Juarez Elementary

Engagement – Testimonials & Photo Evidence
Joanne “Personally, my participation has been most rewarding. Everyone has an active life to lead, plenty of responsibilities, and limited time to accomplish everything. Even so, giving a small amount of time to help children understand the benefits of walking and instill in them safety measures will result in healthier and better educated children for the future.”
