Bookmarks are helpful in long documents because they enable you to move easily from one place to another within that document, without having to manually scroll. Here, a bookmark was created for each math category, so that when you click any of the categories at the top of the page, you immediately move to that category and subject topics further down the page. Additionally, the placement of a bookmark at the top of the page enables the user to click a link at the end of each category to return the user to the top of the page to view the list of categories.
