Wearing school uniform
Menu Generic structure Wearing school uniform Social funtion Wearing school uniform to school is an obligation for students from kindergarten to high school. But, does wearing school uniform give good effect on education ? Those who agree with wearing of school uniform argue that the school uniform won’t differentiate the student status. So by wearing school uniform they would look the same, we can not see which one is the rich or the poor. Secondly, wearing a certain kind of uniform show the character of its school. Girls of a moslem school wearing long sleeves and long skirt with veil, and long sleeves and trousers for boys. Thirdly that cloth will also show school identity. Some school have a typical cloth design that is different from others. When we see the students with their school uniform we can judge which school they belong to. By wearing the same color and design, it will look nicer and more neat. However, the people who disagree with the use of school uniform say that wearing school uniform is not so important. They have many reasons. First of all, the students are free to choose the shirt they like to wear. They will feel more relaxing and comfortable when they wear their own choice of cloth. Secondly, there is no correlation between school uniform and achievement. The achievement depends on their talent and how hard they study. If they are lazy the result will be bad. Some of the high school students abroad do not wear uniform, but they get better achievement. From discussion above its true wearing casual, the students will feel relax and more comfortable to study during the day time, but for the others wearing school uniform is a must because it will unite various students.
