ELBOW DISLOCATION Sports Medicine Description: Posterior displacement of the ulna and radius in relationship to humerus resulting in a tearing (partial or complete) of stabilizing ligaments.

LATERAL EPICONDYLITIS
Sports Medicine Description: Inflammation of the lateral epicondyle of the humerus.

LATERAL EPICONDYLITIS
Sports Medicine MOI: Chronic strain in the region of lateral epicondyle of the humerus due to overuse in the motions of wrist supination and extension. (Top spin on a tennis backhand stroke.)

Sports Medicine Signs and Symptoms: Pain and point tenderness on the lateral epicondyle of the humerus side. Pain and strength loss when attempting wrist extension and wrist supination.

MEDIAL EPICONDYLITIS Sports Medicine Description: Inflammation of the medial epicondyle of the humerus. Sometimes referred to as “little league elbow”.
