An endorsement is a statement appearing on a license that identifies the specific subjects (at various grade levels) that the license holder is authorized to teach
All will be endorsed in Elementary Education: Self-Contained General Education

Middle grade endorsements (grades 5-8)
Content specific (there is no “generic” middle grade endorsement)
Typically 18 hours in subject
Exceptions: Math/English as a Second Language/Bilingual
Recommend at least two
Bilingual/ESL (C&I/DEIL)
State needs: math, science, foreign language, ESL, bilingual
